The pilgrimage trip is to Bodhgaya, Rajgir and Varanasi in November with Bhante Dhammavuddho Mahathera, the abbot of Vihara Buddha Gotama to:

• Bodhgaya – the place of the Buddha’s enlightenment

• Rajgir – The Vulture’s Peak, where the Buddha spent much time on retreat and where many of the discourses were taught.

• Varanasi – Sarnath, the place the Buddha set in motion the wheel of the Dhamma

Travelling to Bodhgaya and Varanasi will be by flight.

Dhamma sessions will mainly be in Hokkien.

All elderly people are to be accompanied by at least a family member who is to be fully responsible over their wellbeing.

Cost is estimated at RM5300 (including air fare and insurance but excluding India Visa fee).
