It is with great sadness we advise the passing of Ven. Dhammavuddho Mahathera fondly known as  Bhante Hye, founder and abbot of Vihara Buddha Gotama, Temoh, Perak on 22 December at 7.12 am.

This evening Luang Por Sucitto, who is conducting a ten-day retreat in BUBS led the retreatants in dedicating merits to our late Ven. Dhammavuddho as an expression of gratitude for  Ven. Dhammavuddho's contributions and offerings to the Buddha Sasana.

For the remaining 2 days of the retreat, the retreatants led by Luang Por Sucitto will offer the merits of their practice to our late  Ven. Dhammavuddho Mahathera.

We would like to encourage all members and friends to join us in this dedication of merits by offering breakfast or lunch dana on Monday, 23 December and Tuesday, 24 December.
