Biography:

Ven Ajahn Nando was born in Canada. At the age of 21, he travelled to Thailand and stayed at Wat Pah Nanachat. He took novice ordination at the age of 21 and Bhikkhu ordination at the age of 22 with Luang Por Liem Thitadhammo, the present abbot of Wat Nong Pah Pong, Thailand as his preceptor.

Since his Bhikkhu ordination 17 years ago, he has stayed at many monasteries in Thailand and Australia. Ven Ajahn Nando has had the opportunity to reside with several highly respected meditation masters, including Ven. Ajahn Anan at Wat Marp Jan, Luang Por Piak at Wat Pah Cittabhavana, and Luang Por Bun-Deet at Wat Tham Seang Dham.
