Born and bred in KL, Bro Loo Kok Chee (Ghatikara) first encountered the Dhamma while pursuing his higher secondary education in SIngapore where Buddhist Studies was offered as an examination subject. His passion and interest in the Dhamma flourished upon his graduation and return from Singapore when he had the opportunity to be in contact with Dhamma teachings by Bhante Suvanno and Bhante Dhammavuddho. Subsequently, Bro Ghatikara's interest gravitated to Early Buddhism based on the Pali Canon pursuant to his meeting with Bhante Aggacitta and Bhante Ariyadhammika who encouraged Bro Ghatikara to study the suttas to understand and appreciate what the Blessed One actually taught in the Pali Canon. Besides enjoying reading the sutta and a good Dhamma book, Bro Ghatikara is committed in supporting the bhikkhu Sangha and the Buddha Sasana in all ways possible for the perpetuation and prolongation of the true Dhamma for the longest time.
