Biography

Born in 1956, Venerable Ajahn Mettiko spent his growing-up years in Muar, Johor. 

He received his higher ordination at Wat Pah Nanachat in 1997 in the Ajahn Chah lineage. He has served and practised at various Ajahn Chah branch monasteries in Thailand, also in the UK at the Amaravati Buddhist Monastery, and in Australia at the Buddha Bodhivana Monastery. 

Venerable Ajahn Mettiko is currently the Abbot of Persatuan Meditasi Bodhi Vihara in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.
