Drawing on the teachings of the Buddha, Bhante Dr. Chandima will explore the causes and conditions that give rise to conflict, as well as the path toward its cessation. Join us for an insightful reflection on how we can cultivate greater harmony and learn to live with less conflict in our relationships and communities.

Biography
Bhante Dr. Chandima was a Professor of Buddhist Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
His recent peer-reviewed article, “Socrates and Early Buddhist Medical Ethics: Foundations of Moral Reasoning in the Care of the Body and Mind” (2025), was published in Budhi: A Journal of Ideas and Culture of Ateneo de Manila University. He also presented his latest research at the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Religion (AAR) in Boston, USA, in a paper titled “Custodians Without Ordination: The Ganinnānse Tradition and Monastic Succession in Seventeenth-Century Sri Lanka.”
