Trip to Santi Forest Monastery Kathina

BUBS is organizing a 2D/1N spiritual and fellowship trip to Santi Forest Monastery, Ulu Tiram, Johor to participate in their Kathina ceremony.

Due to overwhelming response, registration is now open for a second bus. Limited seats are available, so please register soon.

Details are as follows:

Saturday, 9 November, 8 am - Gather at UBV Buddhacetiya Hall
Sunday, 10 November, 2 pm - Depart Santi Forest Monastery, Ulu Tiram back to UBV

Price: 

RM300 per adult. 

RM260 per child (4 - 17 years old). Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There will be no charge for children below 4 years old.

The above fee covers transportation, insurance, 1-night accommodation, 1 lunch and 1 dinner on 9 November.

Payment of the participation fee is upon confirmation of acceptance. Fees paid are transferable but non-refundable. Detailed itinerary will be given upon payment of fees. The closing date is 27 October or upon reaching our optimum number of participants whichever is earlier.

BUBS Fellowship Trip to Bujang Valley

The Bujang Valley, also known as Lembah Bujang, is a fascinating historical complex situated near Merbok in Kedah, Malaysia. It is the richest archaeological area in Malaysia and boasts ruins dating back over 1,500 years. More than 50 ancient pagoda temples (called candi) have been unearthed here.

BUBS is organizing a fellowship excursion for family & friends to this historical site to immerse yourselves in the rich history and spiritual energy of Bujang Valley. Details as follows: -

Date: 15 -17 September, 2024.

Price: RM550 per adult / RM460 per child for twin sharing rooms. Single occupancy rooms are available subject to availability & additional charges.

Price includes transportation to and from BUBS, 3D/2N accommodation, entrance fees, van transfer from foothill to Gunung Jerai, river cruise, one (1) lunch and one (1) dinner on 15 September only. PA insurance coverage is also included.

  • Confirmation of seat is subject to availability and receipt of proof of payment.

  • Your registration is considered confirmed only after you receive a notification from us. 

This excursion is open to 40 participants only and is based on a first come first serve basis. The closing date has been extended to 6 September or when we reach the required number of participants whichever is earlier.

Spiritual/Welfare cum Fellowship Trip to Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son, Thailand. 26 Oct 2018 (Fri) – 1 Nov 2018 (Thurs)

Join us for a kathina trip in a forest monastery, Wat Phra Chao Ton Luang (abbot: Luang Por Thong Daeng) in Chiang Mai. Experience living in a beautiful and inspiring Children Home in the mountains at Dhammagiri Foundation, in one of the poorest and most beautiful parts of Thailand in Mae Hong Son. Children there are raised based on the good values of the Dhamma and guided by the forest monks. Visit hill tribes and present gifts to the impoverished villagers and school children. Take a glimpse into the cave where forest monks practise in, a bamboo-raft ride into a mysterious bat cave and enjoy the scenic views of nature along the way.
