Ven. Ajahn Subharo was ordained as a Theravāda Buddhist bhikkhu on 30 October 2008. His preceptor is  Ven. Ajahn Pasanno of Abhayagiri Monastery. Ven.  Ajahn Subharo is currently residing in Malaysia.
